What exactly is tallow?

Tallow is pure, natural fat extracted from beef tallow - one of nature's most skin-like fats.
Our tallow comes from Danish, organic and grass-fed cows and is gently cleaned to preserve its natural nutrients.

Because it resembles the skin's own natural oils, it is easily absorbed and leaves the skin soft, nourished and well-groomed.

People have been using it for centuries - we're just bringing it back.

Is the cream greasy on the skin?

Even though The Cream is based on natural fats, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy.
It melts into the skin, leaving it soft and balanced, and provides deep moisture that lasts all day.

Is the cream suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, The Cream is designed to be gentle on even the most delicate skin.
It is free of perfume, additives and preservatives and contains only three natural, organic ingredients that work with the skin - not against it.

The Cream is available in two variants:
Lavender, which has a mild and soothing scent, and Original, which is fragrance-free and ideal for extra sensitive skin. Both nourish, soothe and protect the skin naturally, without irritating.

How do you store The Cream?

All our products are handmade in small batches without additives.

They keep best at room temperature - away from direct sunlight and heat.

Does tallow clog pores?

It's a common misconception that tallow can clog pores - but in fact, it's the opposite.

Pure, organic tallow from grass-fed cows is non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog pores.

The confusion arises because “sebum” (which the skin produces itself) can build up if the skin is out of balance. Because tallow resembles the skin’s own natural oils, it is easily absorbed and helps restore balance, so the skin produces less excess oil and therefore appears more balanced and well-groomed.
